The Classic Model

This model features an extra thin top, braced for nylon or gut strings only. The tuners resemble violin friction pegs but are actually superlightweight planetary geared tuners http://www.lessonsinlutherie.com/PlanetaryPegs.html

It also features a tunnel 6th string so that there's no need for a tuner on the side of the neck to impede the left hand. A graphite reinforced Spanish Cedar neck further helps to make this an unusually lightweight instrument (2.5 lb. - half the weight of an average guitar.)
